We are seeking a Division Sales Manager to lead the Skyline Lancaster, WI division sales activities.   

 Responsibilities include but not limited to:  

  •  Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate division and corporate goals
  •  Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  •  Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price targets, size availability, and optional equipment offerings and color schemes
  •  Directs staffing to ensure that Sales goals are achieved, and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals
  •  Works in conjunction with Sales Team Members to resolve dealer issues including but not limited to loss of floor space, product mix, price and/or availability
  •  Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales
  •  Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line
  •  Schedules unit builds, in conjunction with production
  •  Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives
  •  Meets with key clients, including "community" and "street" dealers, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships, feature benefiting products and closing deals
  •  Ensures that dealers meet terms of sales agreement
  •  Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product. Develops dimensions for "Spec" units
  •  Works with other Skyline divisions in market areas to develop and execute marketing strategies 
  •  Coordinates and presents MPA's in plant as well as in the field
  •  Facilitates bi-annual Dealer Councils to promote awareness of product trends, quality issues and industry dynamics
  •  Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  •  Coordinates end of the month field inventory tallies and report generation
  •  Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
  •  Ensures that State Licensure is maintained current
  •  Travels, as required

Supervisory Responsibilities                                               

Directly supervises between 3-5 employees in the Division Sales and related functions.  Assists Sales Representatives with unique and/or complex situations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience                                             

Bachelor's Degree (B. A./B.S.) or equivalent; or eight or more years directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                            

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills                                                 

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Familiarity with frequency distributions and determination of test reliability and validity.

 

Computer Skills                                           

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
