We have an opening in our Arkansas City, KS facility Sales Department.   This candidate will manage division sales activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. 

Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate division and corporate goals.  Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.  Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price targets, size availability, and optional equipment offerings and color schemes.  Directs staffing to ensure that Sales goals are achieved, and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.  Works in conjunction with Sales Team Members to resolve dealer issues including but not limited to loss of floor space, product mix, price and/or availability.  Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.  Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.  Meets with key clients, including "community" and "street" dealers, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships, feature benefiting products and closing deals.  Ensures that dealers meet terms of sales agreement.  Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.  Travel will be required.  Other duties as assigned.

Directly supervises between 3-5 employees in the Division Sales and related functions. Assists  Sales Representatives with unique and/or complex situations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.

A Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent; or eight or more years directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
