Position Summary: We have an opening in our Service Department. In this position you will be working under general supervision, respond to customer and dealer inquiries on warranty and serviceability issues.



Key Duties/Responsibilities

         Coordinates service requests for an assigned geographic area or dealers, as assigned by the Service Manager.

         Handles incoming phone calls from dealers and/or homeowners regarding complaints, service under warranty and parts availability.

         Researches and documents all dealer and customer inquiries on contact sheets.

         Fosters a positive image of the Service Department to dealers and customers.

         Writes service work orders for contractors or in-house technicians.

         Reviews assignments with contractors and determines cost effective solutions.

         Evaluates and grants permission for contractor add-ons (unforeseen additional required services).

         Maintains information on service requests and dealer billing.

         Maintains Customer/Homeowner feedback on services/work performed. Evaluates customer satisfaction data as provided by third party clearinghouse.

         Conducts follow-up service on Homeowner concerns to ensure product satisfaction.

         Updates weekly open claims report.

         Closes out open claims.

         Pull parts occasionally from the plant to our service technicians






Skills and Abilities:


         Ability to communicate respectfully with all staff as well as conduct daily activity with a high degree of ethics.

         Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and requests based on impact to the business.

         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and endure the pressure of meeting daily goals.

         Ability to read and write reports, as well as create applicable check lists.

         Must be familiar with excel, advanced knowledge is not necessary

         Must have strong computer and typing skills

         Must have good attitude with good customer service and organization skills

Education and Experience

         High school diploma or its equivalent.

         Possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

         Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages.

         Must be able to speak, read and write in English




Working Conditions/Job Environment

         Minimum lift requirement 40 lbs. on a regular basis.

         Frequent stooping and bending, lifting, and walking.

         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

         The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop.

         Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

         Must pass background check
